Built-in Commands

You can type and execute the built-in commands in the quick-run dialog. The supported commands are listed below. The string contained in square brackets are optional parameters. There must be at least one space between the command and the parameters.

ie [URL]
By default, type a web URL in the quick-run dialog will open the URL in an existing internet explorer window. Use this command, you can open the URL in a new IE window. If no URL is specified, the command simply opens a new IE window.
logoff
log off the current user
shutdown
shutdown the computer and turn off the power
reboot
reboot the computer
google [keywords]
search the supplied keywords in www.google.com
yahoo [keywords]
search the supplied keywords in www.yahoo.com
altavista [keywords]
search the supplied keywords in www.altavista.com
cnet [keywords]
search the supplied keywords in www.cnet.com
Shell folders
Shell folder means actual file system folder or virtual folder accessible in Windows Explorer. All shell folders accessible by built-in commands are listed below. You can use the full name on the left or the abbreviation on the right.

Internet cache directory. A tip is that you can go into this directory and find some downloaded files.
cookies
Internet cookie directory.

Start menu visible to the current user.

The start menu visible all the users.
startup
Startup program group visible to the current user.
common startup | cstartup
Startup program group visible to all users.
